Emily Dings, Marketing and Communications Specialist

After earning her MFA in Writing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Emily worked for a decade as an academic journal editor for Duke University Press. Later, as a freelance writer and editor, she shifted into the marketing and communications space, partnering with clients including small business owners, medical researchers, and environmental nonprofits. In her current role at Artefact, she enjoys writing proposals for new work and learning about the finer points of architecture and historic preservation.
