Caitlin Laskey, Interior Designer | Historic Preservationist

Caitlin Laskey joined Artefact, Inc. in 2014. A native of Easton, PA, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and Interiors from Syracuse University, where she also received an Outstanding Designer award her freshman year. She continued on to the University of Pennsylvania for her graduate work, where she earned a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation with a concentration in Preservation Design.

Prior to joining Artefact, Caitlin gained valuable experience in contemporary, high-end residential and hospitality design. She has a broad range of knowledge regarding finishes and custom fabrication for furniture, cabinetry, and related interior elements. Additionally, she developed skills in modeling and rendering, giving clients a deeper understanding of proposed design schemes.

Since joining Artefact as an interior and preservation designer, she has become well versed in the documentation of existing buildings, understanding of historic tax credits, and the preparation of design and construction drawings for a variety of projects. She also assists in the production of presentation and promotional materials and enjoys researching the latest materials and techniques for innovative and sustainable design solutions.
