St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

Joining forces to preserve a Neo-Gothic architectural marvel

Location: Morristown, NJ

Client: St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

Date Completed: 2012

Artefact was hired to repair and restore the exterior stone masonry of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, originally designed by Charles McKim of McKim, Mead, and White (1887-1909). In collaboration with Spillman Farmer Architects and in consultation with masonry expert John Harry, we also created a preservation plan for the restoration and maintenance of the church and bell tower. We continued on as the architect of record for two phases of drawing and reconstruction work.
